~California Part 3~

I really need to finish blogging about our awesome trip! It's kind of sad that it was back in November and its almost April! That just means it's time to go again! ;)

Well, after the first two days at Disneyland, we decided we would head down to San Diego and go to Sea World the next day. It was probably the warmest day of our trip. It was also kind of a nice break from the Disneyland crowds and the super long days. We got to Sea World just as it opened for the day and let the kids play in the play area for a while, then we headed over to see some of the shows and check things out. The only bad thing about Sea World is all the shows are pretty close together, so it is really hard to get from one show to the next before they start. We missed a few shows because of it. Oh well. The kids didn't love Sea World. They liked it and thought it was pretty cool, but if we do this trip again, I think we will skip it. Especially for the price. It was only open for 6 hours and I think we paid $70 for each person to get in... kind of a rip off if you ask me! :) It was a fun day, none the less. After our day there, we headed to dinner at Chevy's and it was amazing! It was one of the only nights the whole trip that we all went out to dinner. Going out to dinner with 11 kids age 8 and under... most of them under 5, is A LOT of work!!! My boys thought it was great.... the van that we rented had a DVD player in it. So I stopped at Target to get them a couple movies they could watch on the trip down to San Diego and back since it was a couple hour drive each way. Every time we have a drive longer than about 20 minutes now, Hazen asks me when we are going to get a van with a movie in it. Ha ha. Funny kid! :) I hate to tell him we are never having a van! Here are some pictures from our day at Sea World.
I love this picture of my boys. They were so tired after our day at Sea World. Cute boys!

The next day we headed back to Disneyland for our last day. It was a lot more crowded then it had been the first two days. So we didn't get to go on as many rides the last day but it was still fun. I did get a few more cute pictures of the day! I know you are all shocked by that right now considering all the pictures I have posted :) We did get to meet Mickey on our last day at Disneyland. The kids were pretty happy about it. And as you can probably tell from all of the pictures, we went on Toy Story a lot. I think everyone loved it. It was probably all of our favorite ride there. It was awesome!

The last day of trip in California was on Friday. We slept in... well as much as you can with all those kids :) and got up and the kids swam all day long. They were so happy to just be able to relax and not have to rush from one thing to another. They had a blast all day! After swimming all day we did a little shopping and then we took all the kids and went to dinner at IHOP. It was a nice quiet night. After dinner, we headed over to Downtown Disney, which was pretty cool! The whole time we were at Disneyland all three days, we never went to Downtown Disney. Kind of funny that the last day we were there, we didn't even go to Disneyland, but we went to downtown disney. It was tons of fun and it was the perfect ending to our trip. We were there for a couple hours and then we headed back to the condo. The next morning, we got up and got ready to come home. JC and Kendall and their families left to start driving home and we headed to the airport. What a fun trip! We sure missed Ryan, but we had tons of fun. I need to give a HUGE shout out and thank you to my parents for all their help on this trip. There is no way I could have done it without them. We had so much fun and made so many memories. This is a trip I'm sure none of us will ever forget. Thanks mom and dad for making it happen for me and my boys! Love you guys!

Wow! That was a long post! I'm finally done with blogging about our vacation! Sorry it took me so dang long! Hope you all enjoyed! :)
