Grammy says my has a cute face!

So, Hazen's latest thing is to say whatever we tell him no to, that "grammy" said he could. For example: tonight Ryan is watching the Jazz game and Hazen grabs Open Season, and is trying to put it in the DVD player. Ryan tells him no and he says "Grammy said my watch a movie! It's my movie and grammy said you don't touch it." (Everything is "my" instead of me or I.) He wanted some candy the other day and I told him he didn't need any and he shot back: "Grammy said my can have some candy mommy!" what do ya do? He's too cute to tell no!
Last week Ryan said something about Hazen's face and he angrily said back "Grammy says my has a cute face!" We laughed. He says the funniest things! It's my new goal to write down (or blog) all of the cute and funny things he says. Tonight he was saying the prayer for dinner (his new favorite thing to do) and Ryan was helping him. Ryan said "please bless the ____" meaning food, and Hazen replies "please bless the temple". He is so innocent sometimes! Our life would be so boring without our little guy! I don't know what we would do all day! He just brings us so much joy, and such a special spirit into our home. I am so grateful Heavenly Father intrusted me to be his mother. I have learned so much from him! He makes me a better person. (Most of the time! I still have my moments!) We love you Hazen!

Not like I don't have enough Easter/Spring crafts around my house!
So.... I decided to do some more! Ryan was so excited!

I have had this wreath, flowers and ribbon for at least 2 years..... so I finally decided I better finish it!
Not bad for everything under $5! I love bargains!

This is my Favorite! Robyn and I bought these Easter blocks a couple weeks ago at
Hobby Lobby. So we got together and did them the other day.

I think they turned out pretty cute! What do ya think? They were super easy and way cheap!
- Like I said, I LOVE bargains!

Poor Hazen!!!!

Yesterday was a bad morning for Hazen.... he grabbed my curling iron while it was still hot
and burned his poor little hand. I felt SO bad! I tried getting to him before he burned himself
but I was a little too late. He started screaming hysterically! Luckily, I had some
prescription burn cream at home from work, so that helped a ton! Needless to say....
he has some pretty big blisters. And hopefully he know now not to touch it! I always watch him pretty good with this sort of thing, but I was getting ready for work and I was in a hurry. It had been unplugged for about 5 minutes and I just wound the cord around it and put it in the middle of my bathroom counter where I thought he wouldn't be able to reach it. I thought wrong! I heard him grab it and I rushed in, but it was too late. I felt like a horrible mom!
At least it doesn't seem to be bothering him much at all today:)
