I have the best parents in the world....

This is what I came home to on Friday night after running a few errands. It was on the outside of my door with a gift bag hanging on the door handle that had some cute earrings in it. My mom is so sweet and thoughtful all the time. Ryan was out of town for Valentines (and he has been for the last 6 years in a row) so she knew I didn't have anything exciting planned. She spoils me rotten and is always so thoughtful. It was nice to come home to something! Thanks mom! I love you more than you'll ever know!
It is also my parents 30th anniversary today. They are so perfect for each other. It is such an accomplishment to make it to 30 years in a marriage now a days. You don't hear of it too often. They are such a good example to me and Ryan for what a marriage should be like. They are such awesome parents and friends to me. My mom is truly my best friend. She is always there for me whenever I need her. We have so much fun together and I have learned so much from her. She is the most thoughtful person I know, and I hope that I can be more like her. My dad is the best! He coached me in Softball for nine years and I learned so much from him and loved every minute of it. He is also always there for me, whether it's a blessing in the middle of the night, or coming to rescue me at 7:00 in the morning on the side of the busy freeway. Sometimes all he has to do is just give me a big hug, and that is enough. I love my parents so much and I am so thankful for all they do for me. It is so nice to have them live so close.
Happy 30th Anniversary Mom and Dad! I love you so much!

Hazen says the darndest things!

So..... Hazen says the funniest things every day! He has been talking for over a year, and we REALLY have to watch what we say around him because he repeats everything! A while ago he said Damn in the middle of sacrament meeting one week, and I about died! I was so embarrassed! The lady behind me about died... her children would never say such a thing! So the other day, my mom was watching Hazen and Ryan forgot to leave her the carseat and she said to Hazen "That makes me so mad that daddy didn't leave your carseat!" so he says to her "Does it piss you off grammy?". Do you see what I mean!? Then, this morning I am getting ready to get in the shower and he asks me why I need to get in the shower. So I tell him that I need to. He says "Why?" (This about drives me nuts every day because everything I say to him, he says "Why mom?") So I tell him I have to get in the shower everyday so I don't get dirty. So about 5 minutes passes by and I am making the bed and he says "You stink mom! You need to get in the shower! You are dirty!".......... what do I say to that? Ten minutes later when I am in the shower and he gets into the drawer that has Ryan's deodorant in it and starts putting it on his arm and trying to get it into his armpit and says "I need to put it on my nuts mom!" I don't have ANY clue why he thinks his armpits are called nuts! I could probably go on and on about all the funny things he says everyday! He is so much fun to have around! I'm so glad I have him in my life, he makes my day every day! I just love him so much!
Another thing he keeps doing lately is taking off his jammies and diaper every morning before we can get him out of his crib. He tells me every day "Hi mom! I naked! I take my jammies and diaper off!" SO needless to say, we are starting to potty train... what fun! What a challenge! Wish us luck!

He is trying to cover up with his blankets!

Sorry for the naked picture!
