Crazy Summer!

Summer is always CRAZY for us! We are always so busy between our usual work schedules, camping, hanging out with family, etc. etc. etc..... This summer is no different! I went back to work the end of June, and I am enjoying being back so far. It is nice to have my license now and not having to worry about taking any tests or studying every spare minute I have. I am working about 25-30 hours a week, so that keeps me busy! We haven't been brave enough to go camping this year yet, but I'm sure we will be going in a few weeks.... which leads to the next busy time: Hunting Season. Ryan is in heaven. He is getting really excited and so is Hazen, he has been asking me for almost 2 months when we are going to go camping and sleep in the trailer. He doesn't quite understand why we haven't gone yet... poor kid! We have spent a lot of time with family, as usual, which has been lots of fun. Ryan and Hazen went to the Book Cliffs with his brothers and dad last weekend, and Rhett and I headed up to Park City for a weekend with the girls. It was SOOO much fun! We did the Alpine Slide and the Ultra and Xtreme Ziplines, and they were a BLAST! It was so fun! Rhett was such a good boy the whole time we were there. I had so much fun, and it was a nice little get-away. Hazen and Ryan had a blast with the boys as always and that is all Hazen has talked about since he has been home.
Rhett is now almost 3 months old. It is crazy to me how fast time is going. He is still a little guy, but he is growing so fast. I took him the the Dr. last week for his 2 month check and he weighed 9 lbs 11 oz and he is 22 1/4 inches long. He is in the 4th % for his weight, 10th% for his height, and the 5th% for his head. He is mostly a pretty good baby. He has some tummy issues and I just changed his formula, so hopefully that will help soon. I am so happy that he is healthy and strong, especially after all he had to go through. He is a little fighter for sure! We sure love him! Hazen is a great big brother and he loves his "yittle tiny brother" as he calls him.
Well, I hope everybody's summer is going good! I will have to post pictures later, because Ryan has my camera!

Rhett's Newborn Pics

Well... he wasn't exactly a newborn in these pics, he is almost 6 weeks old, but he is still so tiny! A lady in my mom's ward took them and she did an awesome job! Thanks Brenda! I think they turned out really good. He was such a good boy the day we had them taken! Well... these are some of our favorites... Enjoy!

~My Little Rodeo Star!~

About 3 weeks ago, Hazen was in a little Rodeo out in Tooele. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law entered him in a few events. I wasn't able to go, which I was so bummed about, but I just couldn't risk taking Rhett out. But Ryan got lots of pictures and he videoed the whole thing. He is going to be in another one in a couple weeks. Hazen thought it was the greatest thing ever! He is still talking about it every day! He had to run the barrels on his stick horse, rope a cow, chase a goat and get a ribbon off of his tale, and he had to run the barrels on his pony, Taffy. He had a blast! He didn't win anything, but he had lots of fun. He has loved riding Taffy lately, and asks if he can go to Grandma's and ride her almost every day. It's so fun to see him riding with his daddy! Ryan has had a lot of fun teaching him to ride the pony. And he hasn't even gotten bucked off this year! :) Well anyways.... here are a few pictures!
Singing the National Anthem.... I love how he has his hat over his heart! What a cute boy!

It's been a lot of fun to have Rhett home and to be able to relax a little bit and not worry so much about work! I have enjoyed my time off. I have to go back to work in about 2 1/2 weeks now, so I am a little bummed :( Time goes by so fast! In another way, it will be nice to get back into the routine of things.
Hazen has been having fun playing at home and at the grandma's houses. He hasn't been a problem at all with Rhett-he loves him so much! He hasn't been jealous at all. I was a little worried that he wouldn't like him, or he would try to pick him up or something, but he has been so good with him! He is always wanting to help with him or hold him or something. It's cute to see the two of them together, Rhett absolutely LOVES his big brother! He just stares at him, and so far Hazen is the only one who has gotten him to smile. So cute!
