Yesterday was a bad morning for Hazen.... he grabbed my curling iron while it was still hot
and burned his poor little hand. I felt SO bad! I tried getting to him before he burned himself
but I was a little too late. He started screaming hysterically! Luckily, I had some
prescription burn cream at home from work, so that helped a ton! Needless to say....
he has some pretty big blisters. And hopefully he know now not to touch it! I always watch him pretty good with this sort of thing, but I was getting ready for work and I was in a hurry. It had been unplugged for about 5 minutes and I just wound the cord around it and put it in the middle of my bathroom counter where I thought he wouldn't be able to reach it. I thought wrong! I heard him grab it and I rushed in, but it was too late. I felt like a horrible mom!
At least it doesn't seem to be bothering him much at all today:)

That is so sad. I felt really bad for him. He is such a cutie. I think it is so cute what he said to carter. He said it again on Monday and was spankin him (with his pants up). I just had to laugh. i say it to carter all the time.
Poor little guy! It amazing at what they can figure out even when we think they won't be able to get something. Little kids are so smart! Yes hopefully that pain will teach him not to touch it again.
Poor Hazen! Don't feel bad, those things just happen. I'll bet he never touches the curling iron again though!
Poor little guy, but its so hard to watch your kids every second. Hopefully he'll remember for next time and not to it again.
That is so sad!! I hate when our kids get hurt, it just makes me hurt too!!
His little hands are so cute but so busy. Grammy hopes for his hand to feel better really soon. I love that little boy.
Poor lil guy. Even the smallest burns hurt like crazy, so Im sure that was so painful! I hope I get to see him this Thursday. Its been too long!
