Happy 4th Birthday Hazen!

Hazen turned 4 on October 17. Crazy how fast time flies! It feels like it was just yesterday that I was in labor (forever....) and that we brought him home. He is such a character. I love this kid more than I ever understood I could love someone. He is so funny and so cute. He says the funniest things (see above post). The other day we were riding in the truck a couple days after his birthday and this was our conversation:
Hazen: "Mom, I'm going to be 3 again, right?"
Me: "No Hazen, when you have a birthday, you get a year older every time. So now you are 4! You will never be 3 again."
Hazen : "But mom! I don't want to get older!"
Me: "Ya, me either buddy."
He is definitely the entertainer around our house. He is so much fun and he has the funnest little personality. I never know what he is going to say. And that is not always good....
He was sick on his actual birthday (once again! he was sick last year too) so we didn't do anything much that day, but he did have 2 birthday parties later in the week. He got spoiled of course from everyone, and he had a lot of fun with his cousins and family. He wanted a "Cowboys and Indians" cake so here is the cake I made for him. I had originally bought him this set to give him for his birthday, but I ended up having to use it for his cake. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Happy Birthday Hazen!!! We love you buddy!

My cute boys!

I think my boys are the cutest boys in the whole world. I sure do love them and I am so lucky to be their mommy. I need to remember to get my camera out more often! Love these cute boys!!

Ryan's Antelope

So, if you all remember, last year I drew out for an Antelope tag, and I got a pretty nice buck. This year, Ryan drew out for the same tag. (Too bad we couldn't have drawn out the same year) Well, his hunt went pretty much like mine. He found a nice buck early Saturday morning (Sept.11) and he was done hunting by 8:00 am. He shot his buck in the exact same spot as mine! He took Hazen with him for the hunt, and his dad and his two brothers also went. Hazen had a blast and he has been talking about ever since. But, he wouldn't co-operate to have his picture taken with Daddy and the Antelope. He said it was too cold. :) Well... here are some pics from the day. Good job Ryan! I still think mine is bigger.........

This was about the only half-way good picture they got of Hazen, and it is still horrible!
